Before the year ends, Kiddies, I wrote something that would remind me how colourful my 2011 is. This is in random order and I just picked up the things that I really remember. Hope you enjoy my timeline.
#1 – I met Andrei last January. I remember the way how he took my number at the office; then went through a week of courting until I immediately fell in love. I actually promised myself never to fall in love but I guess this is really meant to happen. Right now, I’m enjoying every moment with him.
#2 – This year I went radical when it comes to my haircut. I experienced wearing Mohawk hair style with some new cuts on top of my ears. Many liked it, but some people really preferred my old style. I also put a small cut on my eyebrows recently, this December.
#3 – I went to Baguio City on Valentine’s Day with the whole call centre gang of our company. It was my first time there and I really had a great time although I didn’t have enough money. I was also with Andrei that time.
#4 – Cool-off March! I really hated March because that’s when I found out that Andrei was doing something fishy, which leads my bipolar disorder and depression to extreme. I started losing weight again during this month until I found an awesome solution last June.
#5 – Once again, last March, I left my family in Tondo, and live with Andrei in Antipolo. That’s a few days before #4 happened. Hahaha! This when I got used to long travel and heavy traffic hours.
#6 – Tablet. Well, I don’t have this crazy gadget yet. I remember planning and having money to buy this but many things happened that hindered me to buy one, like tuition fees, hospitalization, school project, and the no 13th month Christmas. I just hope that 2012 is the year for me to buy this.
#7 – After my anniversary for being a supervisor, the company transferred me to the Affiliate Marketing team. I love this team, especial I went back working with Chris again. I just hate our morning shift schedule, because as you know I love working at night – less traffic, less hassle.
#8 – After a long time, I finally celebrated my birthday! It happened at Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. I was with Andrei, Warner and Vermisse. It was a great experience due to the fabulous fireworks display and breath-taking rides.
#9 – I became an advocate of the Reproductive Health Bill, and I went busy debating about this controversial topic on twitter. I met a lot of people here, especially during our activity at Batasang Pambansa (House of the Representatives). I hope this would pass this 2012.
#10 – Lastly, the dramatic “come back”. After several months, I finally see my whole family again. Although I’m no longer planning to go back home in Tondo, I miss the fun and the challenges inside our tiny home. It’s my first time to see them missing me after all the fact when they discovered that I’m bisexual and currently have a relationship with Andrei. This is the most memorable event for me. Haha!
I mentioned previously that we went to Enchanted Kingdom when I celebrated my
26th 23rd birthday. I was with Warner, his girlfriend Vermisse and my Hub Andrei.
The fun part I experienced there is when I was able to capture our space shuttle ride on video. It was totally and extremely heart-stopping.
Watch, watch, watch!
Hear those cry baby shouts? Unfortunately, that was Andrei’s. He loved the ride, though. It’s just that he could not afford to have an awesome sounding shout. Haha~
Anyway, the whole EK getaway went well and became memorable for me. We were able to experience every ride (except the paid ones), plus it was my first time to experience firework display on my birthday. It was just every tiring because we were there from opening to closing, add to that the waiting time when we took our tickets via Ensogo booth. Even though, that was the coolest birthday I’ve ever had so far.
Moving on, I really had a blast this Christmas even though my 13th month pay is still damn delayed. My family and I were okay now after they’ve discovered that I have a relationship with Andrei. In fact, after several months, I went home and Christmas became our mini family reunion. This made everyone, including my grandmother, happy after all.
Take a look at these pictures:
This is the whole gang with our wacky pictures. Haha~! I miss taking pictures with my family, and this is what I really do.
We exchange gift, of course. And thankfully, they were happy on the gifts I’ve got for them. As for me, I’ve got a new tumbler – perfect for my collection – and a couple of room decor with inspirational messages; I gave the other one to Andrei.
Many good things happened. I was a able to buy some of my new friends their gift, I had party with my fellow at i-Tech Vertical Horizon, and also I enjoyed Christmas shopping even though I had been slashing everything in my savings account.
This year’s Christmas was totally fun.
Unfortunately, due to money delay, I wasn’t able to buy my Galaxy Tab 8.9 this Christmas. It was a broken plan for me. But I pray and hope that the people who owe me that money could give it at least at the end of the month. And if it’s really unfeasible this month, I hope I could get the whole money to me by next month – please not in installment.
It’s quite disappointing because I was really expecting it. Good thing, I had a little savings, which was supposed to be my money for Tab, but I used it to buy Christmas presents.
I still had a great time this Christmas, though. But it could have been much more fun if I was sliding my finger on the screen and taking pictures using my Galaxy Tab.
Well, I guess that’s life for now. I should move on.
I haven’t had a Galaxy Tab yet, but I think I already know who to navigate it. Thanks to the millions of blogs and reviews, as well as the videos, I’ve seen in the World Wide Web that made me more knowledgeable about my future gadget.
Actually, I already have a list of games and applications to download. I based this on what I’ll need at the time I already have my Galaxy Tab in hand; mostly are for entertainment.
Here is my Top 7:
Number 7 in my list is the ZENONIA® 3
Although the graphics of this game is not really that good, I’m still dang curious about it’s story. Well, I love all MMO’s with cute characters, and most of you know that.
Number 6 is the Bible
I love reading Bible, but I’m always having a hard time bringing the bulky book. Good thing, Tab was invented – thanks to the 10 commandments that inspire its creation. Nyahaha~!
Number 5 is the Fruit Ninja
When I was a kid, I dreamed of becoming a Chef who slice zucchinis and tomatoes in the air with a very sharp knife. I can foresee that this app would make that little childhood dream of mine come true.
I hope this is already included. But if not, I’ll hunt it down inside the android market!
Number 4 is the Dictionary!
I’m not sure if my future Galaxy Tab 8.9 has this pre-installed. But since I want to discover/use lots of exotics words, I’ll need this especially when I’m writing my posts. 😛
Number 3 is the Talking Tom Cat Free
I saw this on my team mate’s android phone, and it made me laughing all the time. Well, I guess this would make my stress out of the way while talking to myself. You guys should really try this.
Pinoy Henyo got the number 2 spot for me
Eat Bulaga-inspired game has already reached the world of android, and certainly every Filipino loves this game! And the good thing about this game, it’s 100% free and got 4.7 customer ratings.
And #1 on my list is the Camera360
I love photography and I love lots of effects. All I could say is that this app here has it all. You just have to pay for the added effects if you’re not that satisfied with the free version.
You may click on the names of the application to know more about it.
Sorry for the long hibernation! I’ve been so busy in the past few months that’s why my little space here got some dust and cobwebs. Actually, after my Splash Island getaway and Andrei’s birthday, I’ve got a chance to visit some places in Rizal province like Tanay, Taytay and Jala-jala for some business and vacation reasons. I’ve also got a chance to re-visit Enchanted Kingdom on my birthday (last Oct 30th). Thankfully, I have not encountered any stressful moments, although those trips were really tiring because of the travel hours.
On the other hand, Andrei and I are doing well. In fact, by next month we will be celebrating our anniversary, and I am really excited for that. We haven’t talked about any plans as to where are we going celebrate, perhaps we’ll discuss it after Christmas and New Year.
Meanwhile, my Galaxy Tab P1000 dream was actually an epic failed. I wasn’t able to buy it due some priorities, but I’ll have one before Christmas. I have had a change of plan though. I’m going to buy Galaxy Tab P7300 or the one they call Galaxy tab 8.9, instead of P1000. It’s much better in terms of some specs and a bit bigger than the P1000 when it comes to screen size, although it doesn’t have a call feature. That’s why I’m really excited to buy it. I just hope that my 13th month pay is on its way.
Aside from that, Christmas is very near. Few days from now, it’s the start of the simbang gabi or nine mornings. I still don’t have the money to shop, unfortunately, but budget is all well calculated – I just need to follow it.
And finally, when it comes to my career, I’m still doing well. I’m still with the Marketing people, earning the same salary, and…I miss my Supervisor position, that’s it.
I hope to see you on my next post.
